Hadiith Reminder collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server behind the app. Nothing you do in it is transmitted anywhere.
What the app stores
The app saves the following on your device only:
- which reflections you have been shown, and whether you marked them read
- reflections you have saved
- your reminder frequency, quiet hours and language preference
This information stays in the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded, shared, or backed up to us, because there is no service to send it to. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for your name, email address, or any account.
- It does not collect analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports.
- It contains no advertising and no third-party tracking software.
- It does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
- It does not use an advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled by your own device using the interval and quiet hours you choose. They are not sent from a server, and no push token or device identifier is created or transmitted. You can withdraw permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app, under Notifications.
Links to other sites
Each reflection links to its source on sunnah.com or quran.com. Opening one leaves the app and loads that site in your browser. Those sites are operated independently and have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover. The app sends them nothing about you.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Since the app collects no data, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change in practice.
